Q: How to get there?
A:Competa is in one hour driving distance from Malaga airport.
We advise to hire a car for your holiday stay. It is a must if you are going to rent Finca el Regalo (look at links for rent-a-car agency) but the bus and railway services are cheap in Spain (the price one way Competa-Malaga ~ 5 euro). Every 15 min the bus no 19 is running from Malaga Airport to Central Bus Station where one of buses to Competa can be picked up.

We recommend a bus only if you are travelling very light and have a tolerance for waiting around. You can get from Malaga Airport to your destination by taxi (around 65 Euro) one way. There is a possibility to hire a car from a Competa-based car rental agency for your one of more days trips.

2 swimming pools (communal and near the Hotel Balcon de Competa.) The Balcon de Competa hotel has a lovely pool/bar area and tennis courts you can pay to use. Entrance to this is by a 5 Euro day pass (half price for children), which gives you multiple entry, towel and sun lounger. Less crowded & cheaper pool you can find in Canaillas de Albaida (7 min by car)
The Costa del Sol beaches are a 25 minute scenic drive away. We advise you a beach access in Nerja or the surroundings.

Walking in the Sierra Almijara mountains and the National Park is the biggest attraction for this region. How to find Casa del Cielo Sereno
- Postal address: Plazoleta 19, 29754 Competa (Malaga)
- On arrival ( at least 1 hour before coming to Competa)contact our key manager. She will show you the house
- Casa del Cielo Sereno is situated in the Centrum of the village Competa about 150 m East of the main square Plaza Almijara. From this square walk 20 m up and then, turn right into the street with black/white paving and terracotta on the site of the houses. Walk to the end of the street until you will see the steps of a small square with fountain. The house nr 19 is located there on your right site. We advise you to park your car above the house on Plaza Vendiminia. Theoretically you can rich the house by car, but we do not advise this because of the very narrow streets. Better, take your luggage and walk 70 m down the street.
